Naturally Nutrient-Rich Spinach & Bone Broth Soup

What Is Bone Broth?

Bone broth is a combination of animal bones – usually cattle, fish or chicken – and connective tissue that has been boiled and slow simmered for anywhere between 10 and 20 hours. The broth is often cooked with herbs, vegetables and spices as well. Bone broth is super trendy in the healthy-eating community thanks to its nutrient content.

Nutritional Value

Bone broth has naturally occurring essential amino acids, collagen, protein, gelatin and minerals — which are lacking in many diets today. Collagen is a particularly desired nutrient as it is an important protein that makes up the body’s skin, bones, teeth and more.

Adding the broth to some of your favorite recipes is a great way to enjoy its beneficial nutrients and supplement your body’s collagen production. Try out our delicious and creamy spinach and bone broth soup!
