    4 Healthy, Cooling Desserts to Enjoy Under the Sun

    When the temperatures rise, it’s time to cool off with delicious cooling desserts. Explore some of our favorites featuring BareOrganics superfoods!

    Banana Coconut Nice Cream

    Cooling dessertsIngredients:

    2 ripe bananas, peeled sliced and frozen

    2 tsp. BareOrganics Coconut Milk Powder

    1 tbsp. water

    Directions:

    1. Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth, scraping down the sides occasionally, about 3-5 minutes.
    2. Scoop into bowl and serve immediately. For a thicker consistency, freeze for an additional hour.
    3. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!

    Chlorella Pistachio Ice Cream

    Ingredients:

    2 cups cashew nuts, soaked

    1 cup unsalted pistachios

    ¾ cup natural, local honey

    ½ cup BareOrganics Coconut Oil

    ½ tbsp. BareOrganics Chlorella Powder

    2 tsp. vanilla extract

    Directions:

    1. Soak the cashews for at least 8 hours in 2 cups of water, ideally overnight.
    2. Place the pistachios in a food processor or blender and pulse until finely chopped, almost to a powder.
    3. Drain the water from the cashews and place them into the blender or food processor with the pistachios.
    4. Add the coconut oil, honey, vanilla extract and chlorella powder and blend until smooth and well combined.
    5. Pour the ice cream into a loaf pan and place in the freezer to set for at least 2 hours.
    6. When the time is up, remove from the freezer, scoop and enjoy!

     

    CocoMango Popsicles

    Ingredients:

    2 2/12 cups fresh or frozen mango chunks

    ½ cup pineapple juice

    1 cup BareOrganics Coconut Milk Powder

    ½ cup water

    1 tbsp BareOrganics Coconut Palm Sugar

    2 tbsp. low fat yogurt, plain or vanilla

    Directions:

    1. Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
    2. Pour mixture evenly into popsicle molds, placing a wooden stick into each as necessary. (Tip: If wooden sticks do not stand up, tightly place a sheet of plastic wrap over the popsicle molds to help keep the stick upright. Remove plastic wrap after frozen).

     

    Creamy Cacao Mousse

    Ingredients:

    1 ripe avocado

    ½ cup BareOrganics Cacao Powder

    ¼ cup almond milk

    1 tsp. vanilla extract

    Directions:

    1. Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
    2. Place in the refrigerator to chill.
    3. Serve and enjoy!
